Funding transformative science and raising awareness for lung cancer research
Lung Cancer Foundation of America is working to change the public perception of lung cancer through education and personal stories about lung cancer and to improve patient outcomes through funding impactful research.
Lung Cancer Foundation of America was started by 3 lung cancer advocates, Kim Norris, Lori Monroe and David Sturges who had a passionate drive to move the field of lung cancer research forward in order to positively affect the survival rate of lung cancer patients.
Our Mission
LCFA’s mission is the improvement in survivorship of lung cancer patients through the funding of transformative science.
While raising funds to support lung cancer research, LCFA will raise the public’s awareness and serve as a resource for patients or anyone seeking answers, hope, and access to updated treatment information, scientific investigation, and clinical trials.
