Planned Giving

Planned giving is a way to create a lasting legacy.

By making a charitable bequest to Lung Cancer Foundation of America (LCFA) in your will, this gift will support the important future work of LCFA.

An outright bequest to LCFA is fully tax-deductible for estate-tax purposes. We recommend that your bequest be for unrestricted purposes or be directed generally to research.

Your lawyer and/or financial advisor can assist you with either creating or adjusting your estate plans. Below is suggested language you may find useful for including LCFA in your will:

“I give, devise and bequeath [the sum of ____ dollars], [all or ____ percent of the rest, remainder and residue of my estate of every kind and description (including lapsed legacies and devises)] to Lung Cancer Foundation of America, a not-for-profit organization having its administrative offices at 9515 N Skyhawk Trail, Kamas, UT 84036, EIN 20-8730839 for its general purposes.”
