RESOURCES Lung Cancer Resources: Addi's Cure Founded in 2006, Bo and Christi Johnson started a 501(c) non-profit organization called Addi's Cure, named after their daughter Addi and created to benefit lung cancer research and education. 50% of the proceeds that are raised go directly to research at Duke Medical Hospital, specifically for lung cancer. They are located in North Carolina.
The Betty R. May foundation's philosophy is holistic and provides care and support that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those who are affected by lung cancer. They provide information, support services, workshops, and community education about lung cancer. They are located in Michigan.
Brittany's Battle is a foundation started in honor of Brittany Elizabeth Coppedge, a college sophomore, 13 year competitive gymnast, and a non-smoker who lost her battle to lung cancer at the age of 19. Our mission is to raise awareness, provide support for other families as they fight their own battle with cancer, and to raise desperately needed research dollars. They are located in North Carolina.
The GFLCF was founded in 2004 by the Ferrarotti family and friends in honor of Gianni's memory. In 2005, a unique restricted for lung cancer research fund at Barbara Ann Karmanos Institute was established. They are located in Michigan.
The primary goals of the Kate MacIntyre Foundation is to support programs at the Lineberger Cancer Center at UNC.
