LCFA "Day at the Races"
The LCFA "Day at the Races" charity event will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2010, from 12:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Del Mar Race Track in Del Mar, California.
The management of Del Mar Racetrack has been extremely accommodating to the organization and will be featuring a special LCFA "BREATHE LIFE" Race.
Please join us at this special "Day at the Races" Event:
- Thousands of racing fans will learn that lung cancer research is severely under funded, particularly in the areas of early detection and a cure.
- Fans will learn that an organization exists to advocate and educate lung cancer patients, survivors, and their families and friends.
- Guests will drink, dine, and watch the races in the large patio of the Il Palio Restaurant, located atop the grandstand on the 6th floor, offering spectacular views of the racing action.
- Will include a silent auction and raffle drawings where winners will be invited to the saddling up area and/ or Winner's Circle of the "BREATHE LIFE" race.
- Expert instruction will be provided on "how to place your bets."
Your generosity will go a long way to finding a cure.
